Good news to those wishing to enrol to Blefjells Beste: We have been allowed to have a few more participants on all distances. Should it again be fully booked, the last possibility is to take over (buy) a slot from another participant.

There will be changes in the event as a result of infection control measures, a final plan for these will be published shortly. In a few days, all participants will receive a newsletter on e-mail with important updates.

Do you need accommodation?

Because of the pandemic, Solum farm is not able to offer accommodation for this year's event. As a good alternative, we are happy to offer accommodation at Haugen farm in Flesberg.

Transportation to the start/finish-area

We have been allowed to organize transportation by bus to the start/finish-area, under specific infection control measures. The bus will depart from Lampeland hotel and Haugen bridge in Flesberg. Note that bus transport must be booked and paid in advance.

Blefjells Beste is fully booked

15-06-2020

Unfortunately, we have reached the limit of 200 participants for this year's race. If it is opened for events with more than 200 participants in due time before the race, we will consider to raise the limit. For the time being, it is only possible to get a participant slot by taking over (buying) a slot from someone already enroled.

The Corona virus epidemic and Blefjells Beste

01-05-2020

The government has now announced sports events up to 50 persons are allowed, with a possibility to open up for a total of 200 persons after 15 June. This is very promising and good news, and means Blefjells Beste probably can be arranged in July, however with adjustments according to the prevailing infection control rules. We will keep you updated.
